Talking Arizona football with WildcatAuthority’s Jason Scheer including the Big12 schedule release

In this episode of the Podcast of Champions hosts Ryan Abraham and David Woods are in studio checking in with publisher Jason Scheer to get an update on all of the happenings with Arizona football.

Scheer will join the show over the phone to kick things off and give everyone an update on what’s been going on in Tucson including the newly released Big 12 football schedule for the 2024 season. At first glance there are some really interesting games on the slate with trips to Kansas State, Utah, BYU and UCF and home games against Texas Tech, Colorado, West Virginia, Houston and Arizona State.

They also get into all of the coaching and athletic director turnover at Arizona with Jedd Fisch departing for Washington, Brent Brennan coming in from San Jose State and the school parting ways with AD Dave Heeke amid financial turmoil in the department. Scheer also gives an update on the current roster with players coming and going in the transfer portal and a few key surprises that decided to stay in Tucson.

As usual Ryan and Dave end the podcast answering listener emails and questions from the YouTube chat.
