Recapping week five in the Pac-12 with a Beavers flex and USC and Washington escaping on the road

In this episode of the Podcast of Champions hosts Ryan Abraham and David Woods are back in studio to recap all of the exciting action that was week five of Pac-12 football that featured a Friday night ranked-on-ranked matchup in Corvallis and a couple of near upset bids over a couple of conference favorites.

The Conference of Champions slate of games got off to a great start Friday night when Utah hit the road to take on Oregon State. The Beavers bounced back nicely from their loss in Pullman and took care of the Utes 21-7. For the second week in a row Utah only managed 7 offensive points and while they did a nice job of shutting down OSU’s ground game, their inability to offense was too much to overcome in the newly renovated and vibrant Reser Stadium.

There were three near upsets to discuss with Colorado giving USC all it could handle in Boulder, Arizona falling just short against Washington in Tucson and Arizona State blowing a chance to get a road win at California. Oregon looked like they were on upset alert for the first 20 minutes or so before rattling off 42-straight points in their blowout of Stanford on The Farm.

The guys recap all of the games, talk about their rough weekend picking against the spread and reveal their latest Pac-12 Power Rankings.

As usual Ryan and Dave end the podcast answering listener emails and questions from the YouTube chat.
