Previewing an absolutely HUGE week seven of Pac-12 football featuring Oregon at Washington

In this episode of the Podcast of Champions hosts Ryan Abraham and David Woods are back in studio previewing an extremely important week seven of Pac-12 football with games that could separate the contenders and the pretenders.

The action gets started on Friday night with Coach Prime looking to improve the Buffaloes to 5-2 as Colorado hosts the reeling Stanford Cardinal. Could Troy Taylor and company shock the world and pick up their first conference win of the season in Boulder?

The marquee matchup on Saturday features the No. 8 Oregon Ducks playing at the No. 7 Washington Huskies with ESPN’s College Gameday making an appearance in Seattle. It’s Michael Penix vs. Bo Nix with the winner having the inside track to make the Pac-12 Championship game plus have a leg up in the race for the Heisman Trophy.

In a game that doesn’t impact the conference race but could give the Pac-12 a boost in the fight to make the College Football Playoffs, No. 10 USC is on the road taking on No. 21 Notre Dame. If Caleb Williams can come away with a victory, it keeps the Trojans in the top-10 and gives the entire Pac-12 another huge out of conference victory.

In Salt Lake City all eyes will be on the Utah Utes and specifically if quarterback Cam Rising finally plays after the bye week. California and is resurgent offense pays a visit facing an extremely tough task, a stout Utah defense in Rice-Eccles Stadium.

No. 19 Washington State returns home and tries to get a bounce-back victory with Arizona coming to Pullman. Both teams played in LA last week where the Cougars offense fell apart in the Rose Bowl and the Wildcats nearly pulled off the upset, losing in triple overtime in the Coliseum.

The #Pac12AfterDark game has two more ranked teams facing each other with No. 18 UCLA heading to Pacific Northwest to face No. 15 Oregon State. The Bruins could have the best defense in the conference but winning against a hot DJU in Corvallis will be a tough task.

As usual Ryan and Dave end the podcast answering listener emails and questions from the YouTube chat.
