Podcast of Champions – Larry Scott fired as Pac-12 Commissioner

In this episode of the Podcast of Champions hosts Ryan Abraham and David Woods talk about a day that was a long time coming, the firing of Larry Scott as Pac-12 commissioner. Champagne Larry was the highest paid commissioner in college football and was also the worst performing, from his failed Pac-12 Networks to officiating controversy to his lavish San Francisco offices that cost over $7 million a year in rent alone.

The guys talk about those and several other shortcomings for Scott, where the conference certainly needs to do better, the role the power programs have in turning things around and what direction they would like to see the Pac-12 CEO group go in picking Larry’s replacement.
